Riebeling, Arthur Died July 4

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon for Arthur B. C. Riebeling, 81, 
who died July 4, 1980, at the Monroe County Nursing Home in Waterloo.  He 
was the husband of the late Lena Riebeling, nee Korvas, who died May 2, 1971.

Mr. Riebeling was a retired laborer for the Stolle Quarry. 

His funeral took place from the Wagner-Bode Funeral Home in Waterloo, where 
the Rev. W. L. Biasch of Zoar Church at New Hanover conducted services at 2 p.m. 
Burial was in Zoar Cemetery.

Mr. Riebeling was born July 28, 1898, in Moredock Precinct, Monroe County.  He 
is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Tom (Clara) Sellers of Red Bud, Mrs. Herbert 
(Georgiana) Kemp of St. Charles, Mo., Mrs. Anton (Lenora) Paintner of Florissant, 
Mo. and Mrs. Vernon (Shirley) Menke of Waterloo; four sons, Ervin and Herbert 
Riebeling of Columbia, Arthur Riebeling Jr. of Columbia, Arthur Riebeling Jr. of 
Waterloo and Ralph Riebeling of Ste. Genevieve, Mo; 36 grandchildren; and 40 
great grandchildren.  Two sons and a brother and sister preceded him in death.
