Jos. Mosbacher Services Friday
The funeral of Joseph Mosbacher, 80, of 435 North Rapp St. Columbia, will be 
held at 2 P.M. Friday from St. Paul United Church of Christ, Columbia, to the 
Church Cemetery.  The Rev. Norman Rahmueller, associate pastor, will officiate.  
Friends may call at the Schmidt Funeral Home, Columbia, after 7 P.M. Wednesday 
and until 11 A.M. Friday when the body will be taken to the church.
Mr. Mosbacher, a retired laborer of the Columbia Quarry Company, died at 6:50 
A.M. Tuesday at St. Elizabeth Hospital, where he had been a patient since April 25.
A son of the late Anton and Margaret Mosbacher, nee Grueter, he was born at 
Columbia on February 20, 1887.
Surviving are his wife the former Katharine Raithel, two daughters, Renilda 
Raithel, wife of Kenneth Brenen, Moscow Hills, MO and Bernice, wife of Harry 
Geer, Lawrenceville, Illinois, tow brothers Henry Mosbacher, Columbia, and 
William Mosbacher, Jamestown, North Dakota, three sisters, Mrs. Katie Korves, 
Monroe County Nursing Home, Waterloo, Mrs. Margaret Hoffman, East Carondelet 
and Mrs Lulu Corvey, St. Louis, and three grandchildren.
