Newspaper Obit: Sybilla Linnemann, nee Mosbacher, died at her home on North Main St. on Thursday, Nov. 15, 1934 after an illness of several years. Her husband Bernhard Linnemann preceded her in death. She is survived by three sons, Ben of St. Louis; Joseph in Columbia; and John in the hospital in Anna. And also leaves three daughters, Mrs. Bertha Janson, wife of Louis Janson of this city; Johanna Weber of St. Louis; and Sophia at home. She was aged 84 years, 1 month, and 4 days. her funeral was held on Monday morning, Nov. 19, from the family home to the Catholic Church where Father J. F. Schreuter conducted services and burial was made in the Catholic cemetery. Mrs. Linnemann was a most devout member of the Catholic Church. It was her want to attend mass every morning almost without fail, walking the distance of two miles, Rev. Schreuter in his eulogium recognized her devotion when he said, "She was poor in earthly possessions but exceedingly rich in her unfailing faith."
