Thomas J. Cahill, 92, former Monroe County school teacher, died at Baton Rouge, La. 
Last Wednesday, July 2, 1947 and was buried here Friday morning from the Wagner 
Funeral Home, with services in SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.  Burial followed 
in the Catholic cemetery.

Mr. Cahill, a former resident of this city, was born in Monroe County in 1855, and 
taught school in this county for many years.  He also taught in East St. Louis.  His 
wife, the former Margaret Mulgiun, precede him in death in January of 1920.

Mr. Cahill is survived by one daughter Nellie, wife of Joseph Coerver, now of Baton 
Rouge, La.
